The materials that are required for Wire Knitting are simple.  Wire (I like 28 gauge), wire cutters, needle nose pliers, a stick (pointy on one end and a notch cut in one side) and a drawing plate.  Beautiful drawing plates can be purchased at The Spanish Peacock.
